Serbian guard Bogdan Bogdanovic suffered a hamstring injury in his team’s victory over Portugal at EuroBasket on Friday. Bogdanovic was injured when driving to the basket late in the first half. He came up grabbing at his hamstring and did not appear on the bench after halftime. Serbian media later clarified that Bogdanovic had a hamstring issue and will undergo more testing to determine the severity.
Bogdanovic suffered from hamstring injuries early last season, while still a member of the Atlanta Hawks. He recovered and finished the season with the LA Clippers following a trade deadline deal.
The Clippers wing is a big part of Serbia’s team at EuroBasket. The team is considered a favorite to win the tournament and may be without Bogdanovic, depending on the severity of the injury. The Clippers are set to open training camp approximately a month from now.
