The Golden State Warriors have been urged to read the room after celebrating Buddy Hield’s 82 game season.
Only one Golden State Warriors player was able to celebrate completing all 82 regular season games.
Buddy Hield averaged 22.7 minutes per game and 11.7 points per game, including a season high 28 points against the Pelicans.
Hield put together three 27 point games, against the Timberwolves, Jazz and Rockets.
But unfortunately in the must-win final game of the season, the big plays were not coming, Hield managed only eight points.

The Golden State Warriors put out a post celebrating Buddy Hield’s durability, thanking him for his efforts in the season.
“Zero off days. Buddy clocked in for 82 games, marking the second straight year in which he’s played in EVERY regular-season game,” the post read.

But after his 3-7 shooting night against the Clippers in the Warriors’ critical 124-119 loss that sent them into the Play-In Tournament, fans were not impressed.
At 122-119, Hield had a chance to tie the game with a three pointer with three seconds left, only for his shot to bounce back off the glass.
One fan wrote about Hield’s 82 game season: “Probably should have missed a few. Like those wide open threes he was bricking for a while now.”
“Should have been 81 and we’d be 6th seed,” added a second.
“Would have been ok with me if he missed a few games,” a third fan agreed.
And another wrote: “Kinda wish he had taken off yesterday so Steph could try that last shot.”
“I’ll trade some off days for some 3s,” responded another, while one frustrated fan asked: “Why you post this now?”.
While another fan noted the fact the Warriors lose out on a week off after failing to get into the top six in the Western Conference.
“Yall also get no off days because of him,” the zinger of a post read.

Warriors need to bounce back
The Warriors loss against the Clippers was a frustrating one and leaves them needing to beat the Memphis Grizzlies to set up a series against the Houston Rockets.
If they lose, they must face the winner of the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings in a battle to face the first seed Oklahoma City Thunder.
Hield is not the only one needing to bounce back. Draymond Green missed a late lay-up, while Jonathan Kuminga and Gui Santos were both DNPs, overlooked by the coaching staff.
Buddy Hield is just one player set up for a quick redemption arc against the Grizzlies.
