The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Ty Jerome to a multi-year contract.
Jerome (6-5, 200) finished third in the NBA Sixth Man of the Year voting last season after averaging a career-high 12.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 19.9 minutes in 70 games (three starts) for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He averaged 11.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in nine playoff games during the Cavaliers’ run to the Eastern Conference Semifinals and scored 28 points (10-15 FG, 5-8 3P) in his postseason debut in Game 1 of the First Round against the Miami Heat.
The 28-year-old shot 51.6 percent from the field and 43.9 percent from 3-point range – both career bests – and made 87.2 percent of his free throw attempts. He ranked fourth in the NBA in 3-point percentage and was the NBA’s only qualifying player during the 2024-25 regular season to post a 50-40-87 shooting split.
