He is a 37% career 3-point shooter in four college seasons, knocking down 47% of his attempts in eight games with the Mountaineers before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. DePaul transfer point guard Conor Enright and Davidson transfer forward Reed Bailey both shot better than 40% from the perimeter last season.
Those were the first three portal commitments for DeVries, and he has added three more additions in the last few days. Sam Houston transfer guard Lamar Wilkerson scored more than 20 points per game last season, making 3.4 triples per game.
