Update: Three additional styles in the Fast & Furious x PUMA x LaMelo Ball collection have come to light. An additional style of the MB.05 coats the shoe a la Suki’s hot pink Honda S2000 from the second film, kits the LaFrance RNR in sleek black patent leather like Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger, and paints the LaFrance proper a la Brian O’Conner’s Nissan R34 Skyline. We’ve still yet to uncover the Speedcat associated with this collection, but remain steadfast that it’ll come about as further info trickles out. Catch the new shots below.
Gearheads, this one’s for you. LaMelo Ball, PUMA, and the Fast & Furious movie franchise are teaming up for a PUMA MB.05 collaboration inspired by the 1994 Toyota Supra from the original film.
The car in question was famously driven by Brian O’Conner, played by Paul Walker, and transformed from junkyard scrap into a street-racing monster by Dominic Toretto and his crew. That build was so dialed that it ultimately smoked a Ferrari in a head-to-head race. Walker’s tragic passing in 2013 further cemented the legacy of the franchise and its cars. The ending scene of Fast & Furious 7 is still enough to make a grown man cry.
As for the sneakers, the MB.05 arrives in a vibrant orange colorway with yellow and silver detailing pulled directly from the Supra’s decals. The heel is finished in black and stamped with a silver Fast & Furious logo above the familiar wings motif. LaMelo Ball is a well-known car enthusiast and is often seen leaving arenas in something exotic. When he launched his first signature PUMA shoe in 2022, LaMelo even added a custom matching camo GMC Hummer EV to his garage.
Two additional PUMA x Fast & Furious sneakers are also reportedly in the works, including a LaFrance RNR inspired by Dom’s black Dodge Charger and a Speedcat potentially based on Brian’s Mitsubishi Lancer from 2 Fast 2 Furious. The collection is set to drop February 12th, 2026 in both adult and grade school sizes. See official images of the MB.05 below if you’re a fan.
