Much like how the last NBA season belonged to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the 2025 WNBA season has belonged wholly to A’ja Wilson. The Las Vegas Aces star is in contention for her fourth MVP award, which would make her the first WNBA player ever to achieve that feat – all while her team contends for its third WNBA title in four years. Just the other night, A’ja brought the Aces one step closer, matching her playoff career high with 38 points in a series win over the Seattle Storm – a game in which she was also awarded her third Defensive Player of the Year honor. For our purposes, A’ja has also been enjoying the rollout of her first signature Nike model, the Nike A’One.
Here we have the essential “team colorway” that typically follows the debut of signature models – granted, it’s not as immediately distinguishable as those from players repping teams with more vibrant uniforms. This Nike A’One here matches the Las Vegas Aces’ kits with a low-key “Black/Dark Smoke Grey/Light Smoke Grey” foundation, directing all attention toward “Metallic Silver” accents on the Swoosh logos, midsole detailing, and branded elements. Notably, while many Nike A’Ones emphasize the model’s pearl-inspired upper through a color gradient, this pair opts for a uniform “Dark Smoke Grey” base. Glossy black leather runs from the eyelets to the heel, wrapping around the back, while A’ja’s two signature logos appear on the tongue and heel. On the inner tongue are Celtic symbols replicating her tattoos that honor her parents, Roscoe and Eva Wilson.
