To the delight of Phoenix Suns fans, the franchise is bringing back its beloved “The Valley” City Edition uniforms for the 2025–26 NBA season, as recently announced on social media. And fittingly, the player with more PEs than anyone over the past few years has a special sneaker to match.
The Nike Book 1 “The Valley” PE ties directly into the Suns’ City Edition uniform with a multicolor, geometric sunset gradient on the tongue and collar. Grey nubuck forms the base, complemented by white leather Swooshes and a black midsole. The Suns’ “The Valley” jerseys first debuted during the 2020–21 season and became instantly iconic thanks to the team’s run to the NBA Finals, where Phoenix ultimately fell to Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks in six games. Suns fans will be hoping the jersey brings some renewed good fortune this time around.
Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 “The Valley” PE is not expected to see a public release. In fact, with the Nike Book 2 on track for a Spring 2026 debut, the clock is ticking on the Book 1 era in general. This Suns style seems like a fitting way to help close the first chapter of Book’s signature Nike line.
