Nike Giannis Freak 7 “Bred For It” HF3450-600

Given his gargantuan frame, size, and speed, it really is hard to imagine Giannis Antetokounmpo focusing his efforts anywhere except on the hardwood. However, it’s not only his physical makeup that results in him being a night-to-night nightmare for opposing defenses, it’s his overarching dedication and fire for the game. All of these aspects have influenced the Nike Giannis Freak 7, in contention for his best recieved to date, and are especially relevant as the shoe cultivates its “Bred For It” edition.

Despite what “Bred” is typically shorthand for, the model’s penchant for hi-vis shades twists the expectations that sneakerheads may approach this shoe with. To whit, almost every colorway that’s surfaced so far has featured some manner of neon shading, with the exception of the Freak 7’s “Team Bank” and a black and gum option uncovered alongside the shoe at hand. While darkened hits on the Swoosh and triangular “GA” branding on the tongue hold up one half of the equation, the rest of the shoe dresses in a vibrant “Solar Red,” edging towards pink rather than the usual fiery red promised in the title.

The Nike Giannis Frsak 7 “Bred For It” releases on October 1st, retailing for $115. Catch official images included below and keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates hub for direct pick-up links upon arrival.

When he’s not writing, you can find Matt cooking, traveling, attending concerts and when weather permits, on the handball court.
