Nike is once again honing in on the growing hoops scene in Asia with another overseas-exclusive model, following up the ST Flare with a more budget-minded alternative called the ST Glow.
Conceived as a durable, versatile option suitable for traversing Asia’s wide array of streetball courts, the ST Glow features a simple knit upper, Air Zoom bag in the forefoot, and warped herringbone traction made from XDR (Extra Durable Rubber). Graffiti-inspired text reading “Street Tough” on the heel points to the shoe’s main point of appeal, matched by “ST” branding on the tongue, insoles, and even the box. We’re particularly drawn to the toe and heel, both of which feature protective synthetic material that frames the midfoot in a way not unlike the adidas Anthony Edwards 2.
Another positive is the price. The ST Glow is expected to come in at around $80-$85 USD, making it one of the cheaper hoops shoes Nike has to offer. The model is expected to be an Asia-exclusive and should see a release in the very near future. See official images below if you’re moved to cop.
