LeBron James will go down as one of the greatest NBA players ever.
Many people even think James is the GOAT (greatest of all-time), for what he has accomplished over his 22 seasons in the league.
The most impressive part about LeBron’s resume is that he’s not even done yet. James is set to enter his 23rd year in the league.
While the four-time NBA Champion, four-team MVP has seemingly done it all in his career, one former NBA player claims James has never done this one thing.
Olden Polynice says LeBron James has never said ‘that’s on me’
Throughout his career James has had to face his fair share of criticism.
Media members, current and former players have all taken shots at James when the opportunity presents itself.
Former NBA player Olden Polynice is the latest to criticize James, saying he doesn’t take accountability when his team loses. He spoke about this on Byron Scott’s Fast Break podcast.
“The one thing I’ve always hated about LeBron, it’s like, when they win, it’s all him. When they lose, it’s all them.
“I’ve always hated that narrative. We could have spoken more to his greatness, if one day he had said, ‘that’s on me.
“Just one time, that’s on me.
“One of the greatest ever. I admit it, I’m a fan. I love LeBron James people, but damn it. Facts are facts, reality is reality.”
LeBron James enters his last season with Los Angeles Lakers amid retirement rumors
James will enter the final year of his contract with the Lakers, as the 40-year-old is set for unrestricted free agency next summer.
There has been a lot of speculation about when James will retire, but no one knows when that time will come, only James.
It is safe to assume that James will play out the 2025-26 season with the purple and gold, barring a trade.
After that, he will either return to the Lakers, sign with another team or finally call it a career.
