An attacking target is now reportedly ready to give Rangers the green light over a move to Ibrox this month after the Gers held initial talks in pursuit of his signature.
Chukwuani “super excited” by Rangers move
It should come as no surprise that Rangers have already returned to the transfer market in search of reinforcements, having already welcomed Tochi Chukwuani this month. The midfield star has become the first signing of the Danny Rohl era and it is clear that there could yet be plenty more to come.
The 22-year-old will be looking to make an instant impact on the title race in the Scottish Premiership after Rangers’ recent form saw them become clear challengers to leaders Hearts.
Speaking to the club’s website for the first time since putting pen to paper, he said: “I’m super excited. Rangers are a huge club and I can’t wait to hear the roar at Ibrox.
“It’s a historic club with a huge fanbase. There are huge expectations, and this is something as a footballer you want to play in front of. It gives motivation every weekend to go and give 100 per cent and do what you can to put smiles on people’s faces.”
Meanwhile, Rohl – equally delighted – said: “We are really excited to bring Tochi to the club. He is a player who strengthens our group and offers specific qualities that we believe will enhance our midfield department.
“With experience of European competition and winning titles, as well as his technical and physical attributes, he knows exactly what is required to thrive at a club like Rangers.”
Alas, those at Ibrox are not stopping there. According to recent reports, there could yet be another player on his way to hand those at Ibrox another major boost.
Skov Olsen ready to green-light Rangers move
As reported by TeamTalk, Andreas Skov Olsen is now ready to green-light his Rangers move after the club held preliminary talks with Wolfsburg about a possible loan move for the Denmark international.
Looking for an injection of attacking quality, Skov Olsen could add exactly that. The 26-year-old may have struggled to make his mark at Wolfsburg, but there’s no denying his impact at Club Brugge. The winger scored 49 goals in 124 appearances for the Belgian side whilst also creating a further 30. It was an incredibly impressive run.

Alongside Skov Olsen: Rangers in talks to sign £3.5m Gassama upgrade
Rangers have reportedly made contact to discuss a possible move for a star who would be an upgrade on Djeidi Gassama.
Those at Wolfsburg certainly believed in the Dane’s quality at the start of his career in Germany too, with former sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz saying: “We’re delighted to have signed Skov Olsen, a player who is dynamic, a strong dribbler and extremely dangerous in front of goal.
“He has very good technique and, with his pace and strong left foot, will be a valuable addition to our attacking department. We’re sure we can offer him the perfect conditions at VfL Wolfsburg to continue his development and make the most of his abilities.”
