If the Washington Spirit hoped to gain some momentum after a touch loss to Gotham, they were sorely disappointed. Their weekend contest ended up a staggering 4-3 goal fest with Angel City grabbing the winner at the death. Angel City produced a good display on the night to exploit the deficiencies that the Spirit have been experiencing lately.
