Juventus staged a stunning late comeback, snatching a dramatic 3-3 draw against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

A breathless Serie A encounter saw Juventus fight back from a two-goal deficit. They secured a thrilling 3-3 draw against AS Roma. Federico Gatti emerged as the hero, striking deep into injury time.

Roma, in fourth, aimed to consolidate Champions League hopes with strong home form. Sixth-placed Juventus sought consistency, hoping to close the gap on European spots.

The first half offered midfield battles before scoring began. Roma’s Wesley Franca received a yellow card in the 27th minute for a rash challenge.

Despite the card, Franca soon found his rhythm. In the 39th minute, Niccolò Pisilli delivered a precise pass. Franca then drilled a powerful shot home. Roma took a crucial 1-0 lead.

The half-time whistle allowed both sides to regroup. Juventus needed a swift response. Roma aimed to consolidate their defensive advantage.

Juventus emerged revitalized, scoring almost immediately. Francisco Conceição collected a Bremer pass, firing home in the 47th minute. The quick equalizer brought the visitors level at 1-1.

Roma, however, quickly reasserted dominance. Defender Evan Ndicka rose to meet a Lorenzo Pellegrini corner. He headed home in the 54th minute. The Giallorossi were back in front, making it 2-1.

The home side extended their lead just ten minutes later. Donyell Malen collected a clever assist from Manu Koné. He slotted the ball confidently in the 65th minute. Roma seemed to be cruising at 3-1.

But Juventus refused to surrender. Substitute Jérémie Boga, introduced earlier, made an instant impact. He burst forward and smashed a powerful shot home in the 78th minute. This reduced the deficit to 3-2.

The Old Lady pressed relentlessly. Deep into stoppage time, in the 93rd minute, Federico Gatti capitalised on a loose ball. He prodded it past the keeper. This completed a remarkable comeback.

Statistics showed a tight battle; both teams managed five shots on target. Roma held a higher Expected Goals (xG) of 1.65 compared to Juventus’s 1.39. However, the visitors commanded 53% possession.

This dramatic draw keeps Roma fourth, and Juventus sixth. Both teams leave the Stadio Olimpico with a point. Juventus gained a vital one, while Roma will rue two points lost.
