Priced at 9.0m, he’s not just a penalty box poacher – he’s a physical presence and strong finisher with an eye for goal. With Arsenal’s midfield supplying chances and Gyokeres looking nailed on to start, he offers explosive upside if you want a talisman forward for your squad with Arsenal hoping he is the missing piece of the puzzle.
Florian Wirtz (Liverpool, 8.5m)
Wirtz is Liverpool’s headline signing and looks an FPL steal at 8.5m. He’ll start as the main playmaker behind Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike, and in pre-season he’s already delivered a goal plus three assists – showing he can adapt fast. Wirtz racked up 21 goals and 23 assists over two years at Bayer Leverkusen, so expect consistent returns and bonus points. If you want a piece of this amazing Liverpool attack without breaking the bank, Wirtz provides upside and reliability at a great price. He’s in over 34% of teams for a reason.
Jeremie Frimpong (Liverpool, 6m)
Jeremie Frimpong is a strong FPL pick this season, priced at 6m as Liverpool’s new right-back.
