TACKLING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS
We’re teaming up with Manchester City, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and several partners across Greater Manchester in a combined effort to tackle violence against women and girls.
From 11:30 until 13:30 GMT, and post-match, supporters can head to pop-up stalls outside East Stand, by the E32 turnstiles, to speak with safeguarding staff from both clubs, GMP, British Transport Police, Transport for Greater Manchester and Her Game Too, to find out more about recognising the signs of violence and what to do if you witness it.
The pop-up stalls form part of a wider campaign led by GMP on keeping women and girls safe at football matches.
Representatives from partners will be on hand to speak with fans, answer questions, and signpost to further help. We encourage supporters to visit the pop-up stalls to learn about the support available.
This follows a similar campaign during the men’s derby fixture back in January 2026.
