The National Women’s Soccer League weekend ended on a down note when Savannah DeMelo was loaded into an ambulance following a medical even near halftime of Racing Louisville’s match in Seattle. The good news is that DeMelo was reported to be awake and alert at a local hospital late Sunday evening. The clubs agreed not to continue the match, and it will be picked up from the point of suspension later in the season.
