NWSL Denver has announced plans to build a training facility in Centennial, Colorado. The project will be in partnership with Centennial and Cherry Creek School District. A temporary, 12,000-seat stadium will be erected for the 2026 and 2027 National Women’s Soccer League seasons and will be one of eight soccer fields at the facility.
“Our partnership with the City of Centennial and the Cherry Creek School District represents the power of sports to unite communities and create opportunity,” Denver NWSL controlling owner Rob Cohen said. “We’re proud to invest in world-class facilities that will support our athletes, engage students, enhance education, and leave a lasting impact on our community and the region. Centennial is the perfect home to begin this exciting chapter for Denver NWSL.”
The club recently announced plans to build a permanent home as part of a multi-purpose recreation center which is scheduled to open in 2028. Once that happens, the temporary stadium in Centennial will be reduced to 4,000 seats for use by the Cherry Hill School District.

This investment in women’s sports will inspire athletes of all ages and strengthen our community’s commitment to excellence, teamwork, and opportunity,” Centennial Mayor Stephanie Piko said. “Centennial is proud to host the start of Colorado’s first professional women’s (soccer) team.”
Along with the eight fields, the 20,000 square-foot training facility will include: a dedicated team room including player lounges and private changing rooms; state-of-the-art recovery facilities; a dining area and lounge for players and families; dedicated quiet family room; and analysis theater.
The agreement also includes a $100,000 donation to the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation and access to NWSL tickets. There will also be internship opportunities for Cherry Creek students.
