“You feel that, you look to the training, Bruno [Fernandes] is not there and they feel that Amad is not there,” said Amorim. “Mason Mount is not there, Kobbie [Mainoo] is not there, Bryan [Mbeumo] is not there, Nous [Mazraoui] is not there, and they still have the feeling that we can win. That is massive for everyone.
“So they feel more confident, and I felt, especially in these two last days, they were really focused, they were not thinking about the win in the last game, but they were really confident, they were working but having fun, that is the feeling, that they are confident that we can win, and that was massive for us.”
