The date and kick-off time of this season’s first El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona has been confirmed.
The two LaLiga giants will meet at Madrid’s Bernabeu Stadium at 16:15 GMT on Sunday, 26 October.
Real have started the season perfectly under new manager Xabi Alonso, with a record of six wins from six league games so far.
Barca are five points behind their rivals – but have played one game fewer and are also unbeaten.
Hansi Flick’s side were champions last season, winning their 28th title by four points, with Real second.
The two derby meetings in La Liga last season saw Barca do the double.
Robert Lewandowski scored twice in three minutes in a 4-0 thrashing in Madrid, before Kylian Mbappe’s hat-trick was in vain as Barca won a thriller at home 4-3 in May.
Overall Barcelona tip the scales with 40 El Clasico wins to Real’s 32.
