“Me and Nous, actually, we are always kind of going up against each other in training,” he told United Review. “So we both love it.
“We’re trying to get the best out of each other and that’s the most important thing. I think, if you look at the squad now, there is loads of competition for places and that’s exactly what we need because the standard is always pushing higher and higher and higher.
“And we need to continue to set those standards high because we want to achieve a lot. So, yeah, I think it’s massively important for us, as a group, to be competitive but, as soon as it goes onto the pitch, for us to be competitive against our opposition, that’s a given.”
