Formula 1 will return to Circuit of The Americas for the United States Grand Prix in October – and tickets are now on sale. If you’re looking to buy tickets for this year’s Texas race, you’ll need to act fast, as there is considerable interest.

Circuit of The Americas has been a popular addition to the F1 calendar since joining in 2012.The Texas venue celebrated ten years on the schedule in 2022 with a record-breaking weekend attendance of 440,000. Not only was it the best attended race in COTA’s history, it also made the United States Grand Prix the best attended race of the season for a second year running. Attendances figures have declined slightly in the last two years, but COTA still attracts a weekend turnout of well over 400,000.

Tickets are expected to sell fast once again for the 2025 United States Grand Prix, so we recommend securing your tickets as soon as possible. Organisers have not ruled out weekend attendances at the track nearing 500,000 in the near future.

Where to Watch the Action at COTA

Though a relatively new build, the circuit takes inspiration from other iconic venues – and its elevation changes offer brilliant views for fans across the circuit. 3-day General Admission tickets for the 2025 United States Grand Prix are priced at just under $450 USD. The cheapest grandstand seats, priced at under $600, can be found in the lower levels of the Turn 9 and 19 Grandstands.

Single day tickets are not currently available. The circuit usually makes these tickets available at a later date, provided that the 3-day tickets do not sell out. You can learn more about the best viewing areas at Circuit of The Americas in our detailed guide to buying tickets for the 2025 United States Grand Prix.

2025 United States Grand Prix Ticket Packages

If you’re looking for a premium experience at the 2025 United States Grand Prix, consider ticket packages from F1 Experiences. With a wide range of experiences available, from premium grandstand seats to hospitality options, these options will ensure a memorable Texas trip. Insider access on offer via F1 Experiences includes pit lane walks, guided track tours, paddock access, podium celebration access and exclusive appearances by Formula 1 legends.

Entertainment On and Off Track at the 2025 United States Grand Prix

Circuit of The Americas is located close to Austin – a city famed for its live music scene, BBQ food and thriving nightlife. You can be certain of an action packed weekend at the 2025 United States Grand Prix, both on track and off.

Formula 1 has enjoyed a surge in popularity in the United States in recent years. A TV deal with ESPN made the sport more accessible to fans, while Netflix’s Drive to Survive captured the imagination of a more mainstream audience.

In recent years, COTA has played host to musical megastars such as Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Britney Spears, with the nightly concerts becoming a highlight of the Grand Prix weekend. In 2024, Eminem and Sting were the headline acts. Headliners for 2025 have not yet been announced.

On track, COTA will host F1’s Sprint format for the third year in a row, meaning there’ll be an extra portion of racing on Saturday afternoon. The three days of Formula 1 action is supported by races from junior categories (details for 2025 are yet to be announced). You can read more about the trackside experience at COTA here.

Three US races on the calendar in 2025

For the third year in a row, Formula 1 will visit the United States three times in 2025. In 2022, the United States Grand Prix was complemented on the calendar by a second stateside race: the Miami Grand Prix. In 2023, the highly anticipated Las Vegas Grand Prix was run for the first time on a new street circuit which incorporates the famous Las Vegas Strip.

In 2024, the Las Vegas Grand Prix suffered “disappointing” ticket sales, failing to build on the 315,000 spectators that attended in its inaugural year. In March 2025, F1 announced a new range of ticket options for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with lower prices to make the event more accessible for a wider audience.

Although attendances at Circuit of The Americas dropped in 2023 – albeit by around 2,500 per day – the fall in attendance is not attributed to the Miami and Las Vegas Grands Prix joining the calendar. An official attendance figure for the 2024 United States Grand Prix has not been released but it is believed that the figure dropped slightly once again.

Only Watkins Glen has hosted the United States Grand Prix on more occasions that COTA. In early 2022, the Austin track secured a longer term future on the F1 calendar, extending its contract through to 2026. It contract is up for renewal once more after next year’s race – but the race’s future is not believed to be under threat.
