The award-winning Formula 1 Exhibition will make its long-awaited Asia-Pacific debut when it opens its doors at the world-renowned Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia on 29 November 2025.

Following hugely successful runs in Madrid, Vienna, Toronto, London, Buenos Aires, and most recently Amsterdam – where the show was extended due to overwhelming popular demand – Melbourne will become the eighth city to host the critically acclaimed show after the recently announced F1 Exhibition in Oberhausen, Germany.

Known for its headline sporting and cultural events, Melbourne has been a hub for Formula 1 since 1996. The Australian Grand Prix remains one of the highlights of the season, and with a long-term agreement in place, F1 will continue to race at Albert Park for years to come.

F1 Exhibition will pay homage to Australia’s rich motorsport heritage, with the show celebrating former World Champions Jack Brabham and Alan Jones, past race winners Mark Webber and Daniel Ricciardo, as well as current title contender Oscar Piastri.

The show will offer fans the ultimate immersive experience, with exclusive archive content, interviews with some of the sport’s biggest icons and historic memorabilia. Other highlights include F1 cars from different eras, interactive installations that showcase the technology behind Formula 1, and a dedicated room paying homage to Australia’s racing history.

Fans will also get a chance to race around the iconic Albert Park circuit in state-of-the-art F1 driving simulators.

The Melbourne edition will start with Once Upon A Time In Formula 1, a gallery of previously unpublished photos, films, artefacts and numerous interviews with F1’s most famous personalities, taking visitors through some of the most popular and defining moments in the sport’s history.

Guests then move onto the Design Lab which gives a rare insight into the development of an F1 car and shows how the teams design and produce new components for their cars. The room takes fans inside an F1 factory, and features contributions from Pirelli, Williams, McLaren, Red Bull, Mercedes, and Kick Sauber.

Drivers and Duels tells the stories of legendary drivers and rivalries, with highlights including the Hall of Fame, which features over 60 helmets and the most iconic race suits from Formula 1’s 75-year history. Revolution By Design explores the sport’s groundbreaking innovations and the future of F1, with contributions from Lotus, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Honda, and F1 ACADEMY’s Managing Director Susie Wolff, plus more.

Visitors then enter Survival, where previously unseen remains of parts of Romain Grosjean’s burnt out Haas car – including the steering wheel and a tyre – and his boots and gloves from his dramatic 2020 crash in Bahrain will be displayed. The show then reaches its climax at The Pit Wall – a cinematic and immersive experience that allows fans to relive the greatest moments in Formula 1 history.

Details of a seventh room dedicated to the significant contribution Australia has made to motorsport will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said: “Every time Formula 1 comes to Melbourne we feel the passion for the sport throughout this amazing city, so it’s only fitting for it to be the destination for the first F1 Exhibition in Asia-Pacific.

“The show celebrates the sport’s rich history and Australia’s outstanding contribution to Formula 1. I’m really excited for fans to go on an incredible immersive journey through our sport’s most memorable moments.”
