The Australian dollar has been relatively weak against major international currencies in recent years, making the race at Albert Park a cheaper proposition for fans traveling from overseas. The Australian Grand Prix also represents very good value for money when considering the high overall standard of accommodation, circuit organization and service levels. On the downside, ticket prices have been increasing in recent years due to very high demand. For 2025, the Australian promoter implemented dynamic pricing for the sale of race tickets, which increased ticket prices even more when ticket sales were launched. According to our 2025 Formula 1 ticket price ranking, Australia was the eighth cheapest race to attend. The cheapest four-day reserved seat at Albert Park costs 11% of the average net monthly wage in Australia. Compare the weekend cost across the 2025 F1 calendar here.
Although the extend of planned dynamic pricing for the 2026 Australian Grand Prix is not yet known, the starting price for tickets has increased across the board from 2025 to 2026. Four-day Parks Passes (General Admission) are up by 24.6%, whilst grandstand ticket prices have increased between 7.6-32%.
