Grid 1, 2 and 3 are popular mid-priced grandstands at the Hungaroring with views of the final turn, pit entry, starting grid and selected pit boxes. Grid 1 sits closest to the start-finish line and Grid 2 sits closest to the final turn, while Grid 3 is in between. Please note that Grid 3 seats are not yet on sale for the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix, whilst Grid 1 and Grid 2 are currently sold out via the official ticket agent.
Access to Grid 1-3 Grandstands
The closest entrance gate to the Grid 1-3 grandstands is Gate 6. Alternatively, you can walk to these grandstands from Gate 8 in about 10 minutes or Gate 3 in about 15-20 minutes. The grandstands are entered from a path behind at the highest row. The Grid 1-3 grandstands are also located close to the fan zone behind the Hungaroring Grandstand, and about 10 minutes’ walk from the new fan zone with the stage. Concessions are located behind the Grid grandstands, as well as both fan zones. Seats in all three Grid grandstands are located in the Blue zone at the Hungaroring, see spectator map below.
Grid 1-3 Grandstand Seat Types
All of the Grid grandstands offer individual bucket seats with backs. Row numbers start from 1, lowest and closest to the track.
Grid 1 Grandstand
Rows 1-25 (Row 1 is lowest and Row 25 is highest)
Sectors A-B, C-D, E-F (two sections share each stairwell)
Sector A is furthest left when facing the track and closer to the pits and starting grid, whilst sector F is closer to the final corner
A large screen is located opposite the Grid 1 grandstand, with the best views from Sectors E-F
Grid 1 is the best choice here if you want views of the pit entry, starting grid, pit boxes of the leading teams and podium. Views of the final turn are more distant from this grandstand, though still good from the E-F sections to the right. All seats in Grid 1 have a good view of the large screen opposite. One negative of this grandstand is that some seats, especially middle rows in Sector A, have views to the left blocked by a large concrete wall on the new Hungaroring (main) grandstand, see pictures.

Grid 3 Grandstand
Rows 1-25 (Row 1 is lowest and Row 25 is highest)
Sectors A-B, C-D, E (A-B and C-D each share a stairwell, while E has its own stairwell)
Sector A is furthest left when facing the track and closer to the pits and starting grid, whilst sector E is closer to the final corner
A large screen is located opposite the Grid 3 grandstand, with the best views from Sectors A-B
The middle of the Grid grandstands has decent but not great views of both the final turn to the right and the pit entry, starting grid, pit boxes of the leading teams and podium to the left. A large screen is situated opposite the grandstand, straight ahead for Sector A and a little to the left for Sectors B-E. Please note that some seats in this grandstand have restricted views of the final turn due to a large advertising banner that runs across the track. Grid 3 tickets are not yet on sale for the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix.

Grid 2 Grandstand
Rows 1-29 (Row 1 is lowest and Row 29 is highest)
Sectors A, B-C (A has its own stairwell and B-C share a stairwell in the middle)
Sector A is furthest left when facing the track and closer to the pits and starting grid, whilst sector C is closer to the final corner
Grid 2 sits midway between two large screens opposite, neither of which offers the best views of the on-track action
Grid 2 sits furthest to the right and closest to the exit of the final turn at the Hungaroring. The view of the cars going through the final turn and heading down the main straight is very good from most seats here. Views to the left of the pit boxes and podium are more distant. Seats on and near the aisle of Sector A will also have views to the left compromised somewhat by the railing from the entrance stairs. One downside of Grid 2 is that the views of the big screens opposite are not great, as it sits between two of them. Most seats here, especially in Sectors B and C, have a better view of the screen to the right of the grandstand.
