Ahead of the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix, the main grandstand at the Hungaroring was completely rebuilt and renamed after the circuit (previously it was called the Super Gold grandstand). The impressive new structure is divided into two levels, with the larger lower tier known as the Hungaroring grandstand and the smaller upper tier known as the Hungaroring Platinum grandstand.
It remains the only covered grandstand at the Hungaroring, though only the more expensive upper deck (platinum) seats are guaranteed full protection from the sun and rain. All seats in the Hungaroring and Hungaroring Platinum grandstands are individual bucket seats with backs. If you can afford an extra €100 over three days, we recommend choosing seats in the Hungaroring Platinum grandstand.
3-day tickets in the Hungaroring & Hungaroring Platinum grandstands are available via our trusted supplier, Grand Prix Tickets.
Access to Hungaroring & Hungaroring Platinum Grandstands
Seats in the Hungaroring and Hungaroring Platinum grandstands are located in the Yellow zone at the Hungaroring, see spectator map below. The closest entry gate is Gate 7A, which is located on the hill behind the grandstand and is connected to a paid (‘VIP’) parking area. The Hungaroring grandstand is also about ten minutes’ walk from Gates 6 & 8. A large fan zone is located directly behind the Hungaroring grandstand. The new fan zone with a stage for performances and driver interviews is around 10-15 minutes’ walk away. Concessions and toilets are located are located both within the grandstand, and in the fan zone behind the grandstand.
Hungaroring Grandstand
The lower deck of the Hungaroring grandstand features sectors A-S. Sector A is closer to the pit exit and first corner, whilst sector S is closer to the pit entry and final corner). Each sector has seventeen rows of seats, with row 1 lowest and closest to the track. Seats in high row numbers are preferred, as they provide views over the trackside fencing and better protection from the sun and rain. Sector Q faces the podium and the front of the starting grid, while sectors H-J face the pit boxes of the leading teams (this year, it was McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull).
Please note that some seats in sector A of the grandstand are reserved for guests of the Formula 1 Paddock Club. Four large TV screens are located on top of the pit building opposite the Hungaroring grandstand. These screens are located directly opposite sectors A, F, K and P, but all seats provide a decent view of at least one TV screen.

Hungaroring Platinum Grandstand
The upper ‘platinum’ deck of the Hungaroring grandstand features fewer sectors (A-P) and has only five rows of seats. Sector O faces the F1 podium and the front of the starting grid, while sectors H-J face the pit boxes of the leading teams. Four large TV screens are located on top of the pit building opposite the Hungaroring grandstand. These screens are located directly opposite sectors A, F, J and N, but all seats provide a decent view of at least one TV screen.
The views are better from the Hungaroring Platinum grandstand than in the regular seats below, and the top level feels more exclusive (with only five rows of seats). If you can stretch your budget an extra €105, we definitely recommend choosing the Hungaroring Platinum grandstand over the Hungaroring grandstand.
The upper deck of the Hungaroring grandstand is also home to a hospitality suite known as the ‘F1 Fan Lounge.’ This affordable hospitality suite offers access to platinum grandstand seats and an air-conditioned indoor suite with all-inclusive food and drink on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the F1 Fan Lounge, which are priced at about €2,000 for the weekend, are not yet on sale for the 2026 Hungarian Grand Prix.
