Ahead of this year’s Singapore Grand Prix, we had the opportunity to check out the views from selected grandstands at Marina Bay Street Circuit. Located opposite the starting grid and pit boxes, the Pit grandstand is suited to fans who are keen to watch the pits action, as well as the race build up, start and podium ceremony. Super Pit are the most expensive grandstand seats in Singapore, whilst the Pit grandstand is amongst the most expensive. If you prefer to see overtaking moves and on-track action, it’s better to choose a similarly-priced seat in either the Turn 1 or Turn 2 grandstands.
Access to Super Pit & Pit Grandstands
The Super Pit and Pit grandstands are located in Zone 1 of the circuit park. Buyers of these tickets are entitled to access all of the zones at Marina Bay Street Circuit (Zones 1-4). The best entrance gate is Gate 1 on Republic Boulevard, close to the Nicoll Highway MRT station. There are no pedestrian bridges between Gate 1 and the Super Pit/Pit grandstand. Other entrance gates close to these grandstands are Gate 8 (Helix), which is close to Marina Bay Sands and Bayfront MRT station, and Gate 2 (Temasek Avenue), which is close to the Promenade MRT station.
Super Pit & Pit Grandstand Seat Types
All of the seats in the Super Pit and Pit grandstand offer individual bucket seats with backs. There is no difference between the Super Pit and Pit seats. Super Pit seats are located in high rows (13-20) and in sections A5-A15 sections of the grandstand
Super Pit & Pit Grandstand Seating Plan
This large grandstand is separated into twenty-two sections, from A3 to A24. The section numbers follow the direction of the track, with low numbered sections closer to the final corner, pit entry and podium (as well as the pit boxes for the fastest teams) and higher section numbers closer to the pit exit and first turn. Each section has twenty-four seats and twenty rows. Row numbers start from one closest to the track and catch fencing, and twenty highest and furthest back. In most cases, the best seats are highest in the grandstand. These offer better panoramic views with less interference from the catch fencing, though it still hinders the view of the cars even from the top rows. (Please note that section A2 is no longer offered and has been replaced by the Twenty3 hospitality suite.)
What is the difference between the Super Pit and Pit grandstands?
Both seats are located in the same Pit grandstand structure, which spans the majority of the start-finish straight from the pit entry to the pit exit. Super Pit grandstand tickets, which are priced at a premium to Pit grandstand tickets, are located in high rows (13-20) and in the best sections of the grandstand (A5-A15).

Pit Grandstand: Section A3
The lowest number section of the Pit grandstand is situated closest to the final corner, close to the pit entry and directly opposite the F1 podium. You can also see the pit boxes for the fastest teams (this year, it was McLaren and Ferrari). Note that the order of the pit boxes is determined by the constructors standings from the previous year.
Unfortunately, views of the final corner from the lowest seat number and highest row seats are compromised by the Twenty3 hospitality suite, which is located directly next to the grandstand (see video and pictures). As a result, seats in lower rows are recommended in this section.
Another disadvantage of this section is that the closest large TV screen is located far to the right, making it hard to follow the live action here. It’s a pity that the organizers don’t show the live feed on the large TV screen behind the podium, right in front of this section.

Pit Grandstand: Section A4
The A4 section is situated between the podium and the pit boxes for the fast team (McLaren), right opposite the finish line and the lower half of the starting grid.
A4 also offers views of the final corner, though visibility is limited in some high row seats by the Twenty3 hospitality space.

Super Pit & Pit Grandstand: Section A5
In our opinion, section A5 offers some of the best views in the Super Pit/Pit grandstand. From seats in A5, you can see the final corner, finish line, podium and pit boxes of the two fastest teams (this year, it was McLaren and Ferrari).
The only slight negative is that the large TV screen is located far to the right of this section, making it harder to follow the on-track action without binoculars.

Super Pit & Pit Grandstand: Section A6
Seats in A6 have views across to the podium to the left. In front are the pit boxes for the fastest teams (this year, McLaren & Ferrari). A6 also faces grid slots for the bottom half of the grid.
The closest large TV screen is located to the right of this section, though visibility is still quite good.

Section A7 offers distant views of the final turn, as well as quite good views of the finish line and F1 podium. Directly in front of this section are the pit boxes for the second fastest team (this year it was Ferrari).
A large TV screen is located just to the right of A7, offering good views of the on-track action.

Section A8 is located directly in front of the pit boxes for the second fastest team (this year, it was Ferrari). Views to the final corner, pit entry and podium are more distant from this section.

Section A9 is located directly opposite the pit boxes for the third fastest team (this year, it was Red Bull). It also offers distant views of the final corner, pit entry and podium.

Section A10 is located directly opposite the pit boxes for the third and fourth fastest teams (this year, it was Red Bull and Mercedes).

Section A11 is located directly opposite the pit box for the fourth fastest team (this year, it was Mercedes). It’s also in front of the lower half of the top ten grid slots. Distant view of the final corner and podium to the far left.

Section A12 is located directly opposite the pit box for the fifth fastest team (this year, it was Aston Martin). It’s also to the top six slots on the grid. Distant view of the final corner and podium to the far left.
Large TV screens are located to the left and right of this section, though the screen to the right is closer and more visible.

Sitting around the mid-point of the grandstand, section A13 is opposite the pit box for the fifth fastest team (this year, it was Aston Martin) and is also in front of the top four grid slots.

Section A14 is opposite the pit boxes for the fifth and sixth fastest teams (this year, it was Aston Martin and Alpine), right at the front of the starting grid.

Section A15 is opposite the pit boxes for the sixth fastest team (this year, it was Alpine). The front of the starting grid sits just to the left of this section, where there is also a large TV screen with good visibility.

Pit Grandstand: Section A16
Section A16 is opposite the pit boxes for the sixth and seventh fastest teams (this year, it was Alpine and Haas). A16 also has good views of the front of the starting grid to the left. A large advertising sign spans the track in front of this section, but doesn’t hinder the views.

Pit Grandstand: Section A17
Section A17 is opposite the pit boxes for the seventh fastest team (this year, it was Haas) and also has good views of the front of the starting grid to the left.

Pit Grandstand: Section A18
Section A18 is opposite the pit boxes for the eighth fastest team (this year, it was Racing Bulls). This section also has good views to the left of the front of the starting grid.

Pit Grandstand: Section A19
Section A19 is opposite the pit boxes for the eighth fastest team (this year, it was Racing Bulls). It also offers distant views of the front of the starting grid to the left and the pit exit to the right.

Pit Grandstand: Section A20
Section A20 is opposite the pit boxes for the ninth fastest team (this year, it was Williams), It also offers distant views of the front of the starting grid to the left and the pit exit to the right.

Pit Grandstand: Section A21
Section A21 is opposite the pit boxes for the ninth and tenth fastest team (this year, it was Williams and Sauber). Seats here offer views of the pit exit. Higher row seats also have a distant view of the first turn to the right.

Pit Grandstand: Section A22
A22 is opposite the pit boxes for the tenth fastest team (this year, it was Sauber). It’s also close to the pit exit and seats in the higher rows have distant views of Turn 1.

Pit Grandstand: Section A23
A23 is located almost opposite the pit exit. The pit boxes for the tenth fastest team (this year, it was Sauber) are slightly to the left of this section. Seats in A23 also have a distant view of the cars entering Turn 1.
A big disadvantage of this section is that the large TV screen is located far to the left and is hard to see. Bring binoculars if you want to follow the on-track action!

Pit Grandstand: Section A24
A24 is the furthest most right section of the Pit grandstand, closest to Turn 1.
It sits almost directly opposite the pit exit and also has views of the pit boxes for the tenth fastest team (this year, it was Sauber). Seats in A24 have good views of the cars entering Turn 1 to the right.
The view of the large TV Screen to the left is even more distant from A24 than A23, which is a big negative for seats in this location.

2026 Singapore Grand Prix: Super Pit & Pit Grandstand Ticket Prices
A limited number of Super Early Bird and Early Bird tickets are now sold out for the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix. General ticket sales begin on November 3, 2025 at 10:00 SGT. 3-day Pit Grandstand tickets were priced at $1,538 SGD ($1,185 USD) and 3-day Super Pit Grandstand tickets were priced at $2,048 SGD ($1,577 USD) in the Early Bird sale. Regular ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, though are expected to be approx. 10-15% higher than 2025.
Which section is best? Is it worth paying extra for Super Pit grandstand tickets?
For views of the final corner, F1 podium and pit boxes of the top teams, we recommend sections A4-A7. In general, the Super Pit sections (high seats in A5-A15) offer some of the best views in this grandstand, though it’s hard to justify the additional price. Sections A23-A24 are not recommended due to their location after the pit boxes have finished, and also the distant views of the large TV screen.
