There’s always a distinctive flair at the Singapore Grand Prix. With the city’s growing reputation in fashion and design, the Marina Bay Circuit’s paddock set the stage for outfits that matched the spectacle of the night race.
Since joining the calendar in 2008 – and this year also joined by F1 ACADEMY – Singapore has become one of Formula 1’s most glamorous stops. The night lights, the skyline, and the tropical heat make it not just a challenge for the drivers but also the perfect backdrop for bold style statements.
From fans to special guests, no one misses the chance to turn the paddock into a runway. This weekend featured looks from polished designer ensembles to effortless streetwear, and the fashion at the Singapore Grand Prix proved once again why Singapore holds a unique place in the Formula 1 lifestyle scene.
Thursday: athleisure for a casual check-in
Media day is always a moment to spot fashion among the drivers, and this time the unpredictable weather in Singapore highlighted one of the season’s key trends: elevated athleisure.
Blurring the line between fitness wear and streetwear, the trend appeared in Lando Norris’ vintage rugby polo and Liam Lawson’s muted grey set. Yuki Tsunoda has his paddock looks dialled in, his accessories the star of the show as ever. Others stayed classic with the ever-reliable white t-shirt, worn by Lance Stroll and Esteban Ocon. Meanwhile, Fernando Alonso gave the classic style a modern twist with a short-sleeved beige polo and cream chinos.
Keeping it classy, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff defied the heat by donning a beige blazer – what humidity?
Drivers weren’t the only ones embracing the blend of performance and style. Red Bull opened its garage to the South Korean boy band ENHYPEN. As Prada ambassadors, the band has served as a bridge between K-pop and the global fashion industry and they brought streetwear energy to the garage, with a mix of double denim, cargo trousers, and racing jackets.
Friday: elegance and Asian motifs
Although team kit was the leading choice for Friday, a special mention goes to Red Bull’s collaboration with Castore and Hypebeast. We know how much Verstappen loves a team kit, so this collection seems the perfect fit for him and his fashion-forward team mate, Tsunoda.
The three-piece capsule reinterprets the traditional pieces of Red Bull’s uniform. Designed for night races, it features a digital night-camo pattern with built-in reflective material that catches the lights of Singapore and Las Vegas, where the team will wear the limited edition threads.
The paddock guests exhibited pure elegance, with various drivers’ partners’ fashion taking the spotlight throughout much of the weekend. Charles Leclerc’s partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux, chose a satin midi dress embroidered with Asian motifs, while Alex Albon’s partner and professional golfer Lily Muni He, stood out in a two-layer orange mini dress by Samuel Gui Yang. Both accessorised with heels and designer bags from Dior and Bottega Veneta. Other VIPs like JJ Lin also kept to an elegant dress code, with many opting for Louis Vuitton iconic pieces.
Saturday: lace, leather, and standout styles
Saturday’s high tension ahead of Qualifying kept most drivers in team kit. Paddock guests brought their style to the track, with lace, leather, and suede standing out. Model Rebecca Donaldson, Carlos Sainz’s partner, wore a total chocolate-brown look, featuring a knit dress and a matching suede bag. Lily Muni He made a statement with a two-piece outfit – a contrast black lace top over a shimmery skirt.
Alexandra Saint Mleux continued her homage to Asian influences with a mini kimono-inspired dress by Sau Lee while Alicia Stent-Torriani (partner of Ollie Bearman) and actress and model Magui Corceiro (partner of Lando Norris) brought a coordinated touch to the paddock with contrasting black-and-white looks. Their styling carried an effortless elegance that moved seamlessly from day to night – versatile choices ideally suited to the occasion.
VIP guests from Singapore’s creative scene – such as actors Zhang Ze Tong and Sheryl Ang – leaned towards streetwear, spotlighting the leather jacket as a global fashion staple fresh from Milan and Paris SS26 Fashion Weeks, as seen in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vacarello, Bottega by Louise Trotte or the new Versace by Dario Vitale.
Sunday: night race & statement accessories
In one of the most perfect laps of his career, George Russell took a surprise pole position and followed it up with victory in Singapore, while McLaren sealed the Teams’ title.
Supporting Russell was his partner, Carmen Montero Mundt, who elevated Sunday fashion alongside other partners, such as Alexandra Saint-Mleux and Rebecca Donaldson. Carmen’s geometric-pattern two-piece brought sharp sophistication, Alexandra and Lily revisited a kimono silhouette from earlier in the weekend, and Rebecca went for a staple total black look. In the McLaren box, Magui Corceiro went for a practical yet stylish utility jumpsuit.
Some may say menswear can usually be a little understated, but stars David Corenswet and Romeo Beckham turned the starting grid into a red carpet, mastering colour-block looks.
However, the main focus of race day was on accessories. Designer bags set the tone in the paddock, with several nods to Asian fashion culture – with Alexandra Saint-Mleux’s beaded fan evening bag emerging as the standout accessory of the day.
Rebecca Donaldson also added a playful detail to her outfit with the “Sparkles” unicorn charm, a fan favourite that began as a sticker on Carlos Sainz’s helmet and has since become official Williams merchandise by popular demand!
