The 2025 Qatar Grand Prix is the penultimate race of the 2025 season, running from November 28-30. To coincide with Formula 1’s fourth visit to Lusail Circuit, Doha celebrates race week with a range of activities for motorsport fans. We’ve rounded up the best off-track events to attend!
Place Vendome Fan Zone
In the lead up to the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix throughout November, Place Vendome – the shopping mall known for its high class retail options – will once again be a hub of activity for Formula 1 fans. On the ground floor, by Paul Cafe, there are a variety of interactive experiences on offer for both adults and children. Take part in a VR Pit Stop Challenge and try your hand at driving on F1 simulators. There’s also the opportunity to solve racing-themed puzzles and design your own racing helmet.
Racing Helmet Art Installations
Talking of racing helmets, in the lead up to the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix, there are ten Formula 1 helmet sculptures dotted around Qatar. The huge 1.8 metre art installations can be spotted at various locations, including Hamad International Airport, Lusail International Circuit’s Media Accreditation Center, Old Doha Port, Doha Festival City Mall, Souq Waqif and Place Vendome.

Racing Film Experience at Souq Waqif
At Souq Waqif in the Eastern Square, take in a 360° film, titled “Where Hearts Are Racing”. The film links Qatar’s racing heritage to the modern day F1 action at Lusail Circuit. Showing daily, 15:00-22:00, until November 30. Entry is free.

Football at the Khalifa Stadium
Kick off the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix weekend with a game of football! The Khalifa Stadium, which hosted matches during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, will host the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup on Thursday November 27, with Portugal and Austria facing off to be crowned champions. Kick off is at 19:00, limited tickets still available.
More Ideas For Your Trip to Qatar
There’s plenty to see and do across Qatar away from the circuit during your visit to the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix. Doha and the surrounding area has become more geared towards tourists since hosting the World Cup three years ago. Budget-friendly, there’s a wealth of ways to pass your time in Qatar’s most populous city. From exploring the area’s historical routes and natural beauty, to immersing yourself in a quintessential Qatari shopping experience, we’ve rounded up the best things to see and do in Doha.
Trackside at the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix
Of course, the main event will be at Lusail Circuit, where three days of on-track action – which could potentially decided this year’s World Champion – awaits F1 fans. With additional races from Formula 2, plus F1’s Sprint weekend format, there’s plenty to keep you entertained throughout each day of the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix weekend.
Trackside, the Fan Zone has been upgraded in 2025 and will feature a new LEGO “Build The Thrill” Experience. For the first time at a race in the Middle East, fans can build their own LEGO F1 cars and explore a brick-themed pit lane and garages!
Enjoy a karting experience in the Kart Arena, learn more about motorsport science in the interactive Genius Dome, race on simulators in the Arcade Zone and celebrate Qatari heritage in the Cultural Area. Another highlight is the F1 Fan Forum, where drivers will be appearing on the main stage throughout Friday and Saturday.
When the racing is over, stick around for the nightly concerts! This year’s concert line-up features three international acts: Seal on Friday night, Khaled on Saturday and Metallica headline on Sunday night.
