Singapore is gearing up to welcome Formula 1 for the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix on October 3-5. Taking place on the revised layout of the Marina Bay Street Circuit in use since 2023, F1’s original night race is set to attract over 250,000 fans over the three-day race weekend.

The Singapore Grand Prix is always one of the biggest events on the Formula 1 calendar, with a range of trackside entertainment – including a stellar line-up of A-list musical performances. The city will once again be embracing F1’s presence in the run up to the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, with Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) in full swing. GPSS officially runs from September 26 to October 5.

Read on to discover the best events happening across the city in the days leading up to the race and over the event weekend.

Attend the Williams Fan Zone

Join Williams Racing for their ever-popular Fan Zone experience. Featuring appearances from Williams driver Alex Albon, Team Principal James Vowles, team ambassador Jenson Button and Williams Racing Driver Academy star Lia Block, this is a great opportunity to get up close with the inner workings of a Formula 1 team.

The FW47 show car will be on display, you can try out the Williams Esports rigs and get your hands on exclusive team merchandise. The event runs from Monday September 29 through to Tuesday October 7, at Central Atrium on Level 2 of Marina Square shopping centre on Raffles Boulevard, from 11:00 until 21:00 daily. Learn more here.

Williams aren’t the only team with a show car on display. Travelling through Changi Airport? You’ll see some F1 sights straight away! Aston Martin are cooperating with Glenfiddich for a special pop up at Terminal 3 and the team’s show car will be on display. There are complimentary cocktails!

Join the Exclusive Amber Lounge After Party

Amber Lounge is the place to be seen at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix. It’s where you’ll find most of the A-list race-going guests. Amber Hospitality Packages offer you the opportunity to witness the race from exclusive viewing areas before heading to the Legendary Amber Lounge After Party.

Why legendary? The post-race celebrations take place from 22:30 until 05:00 and the Amber Lounge is the favoured party spot for elite members of the F1 fraternity, from the Formula 1 drivers themselves to team members, sponsors and celebrity guests. Internationally renowned DJs, this year including Jonas Blue and Jay Sean, headline the event and there’s free flowing champagne throughout the festivities. It’s the ultimate Singapore Grand Prix party! Passes, table reservations and VIP upgrades can be purchased via the Amber Lounge website.

Visit F1-Themed Museums, Exhibitions and Experiences

There are a number of F1 exhibitions and experiences on offer in Singapore in the lead up to Grand Prix week.

Head to Gallery26 for a special display about Marina Bay Street Circuit’s history. The “Race Through Time – The Singapore Grand Prix Through The Years” Exhibition will take you through the history of F1’s first night race with a gallery of iconic moments – plus a selection of Ferrari F1 cars which have raced in Singapore. The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, between September 26 – October 5, opening at 11:00 each day.

At The Arts House, in Old Parliament Lane, The Art of Interference exhibition will house an intersection of quantum science and creative expression, with works by Singaporean and Italian artists highlighting how cutting-edge physics inspire artwork.

On September 27&28, at the MINT Museum of Toys on Seah Street, enjoy a series of programmes and activities honouring the rich history of the Singapore Grand Prix. Tickets with access to all activities are priced at $55.

Between September 27 and October 12, take a tour of Singapore during an hour-long sidecar ride, taking in the sights of the famous race track. Tours are priced at $230.

Throughout September, get to HyperDrive to prove your go-karting skills! The top 40 drivers will face off in a grand finale on September 27, with top prizes on offer for the winners.

Orchard Road

Orchard Road is famous for its shopping scene, particularly for high end and designer clothing brands. Singapore’s first “Premium Retail Gallery” is taking place at Plaza Singapura throughout GPSS. Combining speed and style, the immersive fashion experience will be completed with gourmet food options.

Head to ION Orchard for a pop-up LEGO store, featuring a life-size LEGO F1 car! Also in the area, at Love, Bonito’s outlet is a Batak-inspired lights game, to test your hand-eye coordination and there’s a TAG Heuer pop-up where you can explore the brand’s motorsport heritage and get a photo with Red Bull’s show car.

Elsewhere you can check out the eclectic range of music and art on offer from local artists.

Clarke Quay

As Singapore’s premier nightlife destination, it’s no surprise that Clarke Quay is the place to be to soak up sets by renowned DJs in the run up to the Singapore Grand Prix. As part of Hit The Apex at CQ @ Clarke Quay, Music Matters Live will feature 40 artists from 17 countries taking part in special themed nights, including Japan Night, Australia Night and Girls’ Night Out. Also on offer is a Hot Wheel Pocket Pistop, an art installation and sim racing presented by OutDrive GP.

More simulators can be found at the Harry’s outlets in Clarke Quay, South Beach and Boat Quay.

Sentosa

Local artists will take centre stage at Sentosa, Singapore’s leading island restort, for Jam Off 2025, taking place at Universal Studios and Palawan Beach on September 27-28. The main stage will feature performances from the likes of Rain, Hins Cheung, Ekin Cheng and Stephy Tang.

Also in the vicinity, Resorts World Sentosa are offering race-themed menus and sweet treats, while Sofitel has an indulgent ‘feast for champions’. Tanjong Beach Club, on the island, will have BBQs, champagne brunches and international DJ sets by the sea.

Exclusive Parties & Culinary Experiences

Local restaurants, bars and nightclubs will be embracing Formula 1’s presence. Many will celebrate the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix with special menus and exclusive events. Whether you want to party with members of the F1 fraternity, taste specially-curated cocktails or even experience a luxury takeaway, here are some of the best options available:

The Town Restaurant at the Fullerton Hotel will have a range of dining experiences for racegoers, including a ‘Fuel Up Brunch’ and a ‘Roaring Dinner Feast’.

Enjoy food and try out your driving skills at Harry’s Boat Quay, where top lap times on the racing simulators result in prizes!

Fan of chocolate and racing? Great news, you can build your own chocolate race car in a hands-on workshop at Dempsey Hill.

Offering breath-taking views of Marina Bay, Level 33 will cater to F1 fans over the Singapore Grand Prix weekend with freshly house-brewed craft beers from the world’s highest urban microbrewery. Get panoramic views of the track from 33 storeys up!

A day party with stilt live entertainment and a high-energy DJ set by DJ Gil Glaze. All part of LAVO’s Party Brunch: Race Edition on qualifying day. Available October 4, 12:00-16:00 only.

Enjoy the Singapore Grand Prix Concerts

Since the first race in 2008, the Singapore Grand Prix has attracted musical superstars to perform trackside over the race weekend. The tradition continues at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, with G-Dragon headlining proceedings on Friday, Foo Fighters performing on Saturday and Elton John closing out the festivities on Sunday night.

Aside from the headliners, there are a wealth of other international and local acts performing across the weekend. Further confirmed performers include Lewis Capaldi, Crowded House, Clean Bandit, The Smashing Pumpkins and Tom Grennan.

In addition to the trackside concerts, head to MARQUEE Singapore for DJ sets from Martin Garrix and Afrojack. The GrooveDriver Festival will also be taking place across the city on September 26-28 and October 2, featuring acts from all genres.

Main Event: The 2025 Singapore Grand Prix

Of course, the main attraction for most fans is the racing itself. The Singapore Grand Prix has delivered drama and excitement in the recent years; wet conditions caused havoc in 2022 and Carlos Sainz took the only non-Red Bull victory of the year in 2023. Lando Norris was victorious last season. The tight confines of the Marina Bay Street Circuit are likely to challenge the drivers once more at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix as the championship battle between the two McLaren drivers continues to heat up.

There’s three days of racing action in store, with Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and F1 Academy providing further on-track fun.

Our updated trackside guide to attending the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix will help you get the most out of your weekend. It includes the full on-track schedule, details of driver meet and greets, information on food and drink, plus other helpful advice.

Singapore Off-Track

A major draw of the Singapore Grand Prix being held at night is that it gives you time to explore the city during the day before the racing action begins. Check out the interesting architecture in Chinatown, take a trip on the Singapore Flyer to get the best views of the surrounding area or even visit Universal Studios Singapore. Learn more about where to visit in our guide to the best things to see and do in Singapore.

The full selection of events happening across the city in the lead up to the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix can be found on the official Visit Singapore website.
