Few Formula 1 events received more international media coverage prior to hosting their first race than the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Saturday night race takes place on a new street circuit – the Las Vegas Strip Circuit – which incorporates the famous Las Vegas Strip as part of its layout. Just over 300,000 fans attended the first two editions of the race over three days. Unique on the calendar, the racing in Las Vegas takes place from Thursday to Saturday. In response to feedback from fans, the timing of F1 sessions has been brought forward for 2025, with the late session (practice on Thursday, qualifying on Friday and the race on Sunday) now taking place from 8pm rather than 10pm. This gives fans more opportunities to take in the rest of the events and activities that Las Vegas is known for.
Las Vegas Grand Prix Access & Orientation
Unlike many of the other races on the Formula 1 calendar, your ticket for the Grand Prix only grants you access to the zone in which your chosen grandstand or viewing area is located. It is not possible to explore different areas of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit over the race weekend. Grandstands are located in the East Harmon Zone, the West Harmon Zone, The Mirage Zone and the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere. The latter zone is also where you’ll find the circuit’s General Admission offering.
There are a number of other zones which are for those with hospitality tickets only, such as the Paddock Zone, the North Koval Zone, the South Koval Zone and the Hilton Grand Vacations Zone. View the Las Vegas Strip Circuit interactive map.
Rideshare and walking are the recommended methods of getting to the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Designated pick-up and drop-off points are located at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas (closest to the start/finish straight and the East Harmon Zone) and the Hughes Centre (closest to the T-Mobile at Sphere Zone).

Road closures at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix
To accommodate the Grand Prix, a number of road closures are in place across the Grand Prix weekend in Las Vegas. Soft closures begin at 15:00 on each day of the race weekend (from Thursday to Saturday), before full road closures come into place from 17:00. If you’re traveling from outside of the city, we recommend arriving well in advance of these closures in order to avoid disruption to your journey. Prohibited Items at the Las Vegas Grand Prix
The following bag types will be accepted at entry gates for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, subject to searches: Tote or backpack (does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” and must be transparent), Small handbags or fanny packs (does not exceed 6” x 9” and does not have to be transparent), Diaper bags (permitted when accompanied by an infant and subject to search). Storage lockers are not available within the circuit. The following items are prohibited:
No bags that violate Promoter’s Bag Policy
No outside food or beverage of any kind
No bottles, cans, glass or metal vessels (including empty/refillable bottles)
No hydration packs of any kind
No alcoholic beverages
No illegal substances, drugs of any kind (including marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and powdered alcohol) or paraphernalia
No weapons, dangerous or hazardous items of any kind including knives, bladed items, firearms, ammunition, or personal protection sprays
No fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, vuvuzelas, whistles, or flares
No lasers or laser pointers
No projectiles
No drones or remote-controlled or other unmanned aerial devices/vehicles
No phone jammers, radio scanners or two-way radios
No musical instruments or sound devices including bells, whistles, noise makers or megaphones
No laptops or tablets, personal computers, or two-way radios
No professional film, photo, sound or other audio/video recording equipment (other than personal cell phones). Professional cameras are any cameras with a detachable lens which includes DSLRs.
No camera accessories- selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, go-pro mounts or attachments.
No bicycles, roller-skates, skateboards, scooters, segways, stroller or hoverboards
No carts or wagons
No flag sticks or poles over 3ft in length
No unapproved advertising or promotional materials such as flyers, folders, banners, samples or stickers
No umbrellas, canopies, tents or parasols
No ladders, stepladders, scaffolding or platforms
No foam, hard-sided or soft-sided coolers or ice chests
No hard case containers (e.g., briefcases)
No inflatable objects (e.g., beach balls, balloons, “clappers”)
No collapsible or non-collapsible chairs or stools
No aerosols, combustible materials or liquids or other chemicals
No magic markers/sharpies
No items restricted by local, state or federal law
No animals except for registered service animals
No seat cushions
No flags, banners, clothing, accessories bearing offensive/derogatory slogans or messages
No clothing, headgear or accessories that conceal a guest’s entire head or face, including full face paint and costumes/helmets with face masks (medical face masks covering the nose and mouth used to protect from the transmission of disease, such as COVID-19, are permitted)
Any items that could in the opinion of the Promoter be used to sabotage or damage property or interfere with the event/race or the audio/visual broadcast or recording of the event or any technology-related services provided by Promoter at the event
Any item that in the opinion of the Promoter has the potential to cause injury to a person, or cause a public nuisance, or violate Promoter’s fan Code of Conduct or other polices (e.g., Promoter’s bag policy) published elsewhere on Promoter’s website
Any other item deemed dangerous by Promoter

2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix Schedule
On-Track Schedule: The session times for Formula 1 at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix have been confirmed by Formula 1 and are listed below. (Sunset in Las Vegas on race weekend is at approx. 16:30).
Gate Opening/Closing Times: TBC. Given the earlier F1 session times in 2025, we expect gates to open around 14:30 and close at 24:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the 2025 Las Vegas GP
Support Categories: F1 Academy is the only support race on the schedule at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix. It replaces the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli series, which was on last year’s timetable.

Will there be a Pit Lane Walk at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix?
A promoter pit lane walk for select ticket holders was held on Thursday last year. Some F1 Experiences packages included access to the promoter pit lane walk. The promoter pit lane walk is TBC for 2025. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, guests in the Formula 1 Paddock Club hospitality suites can take part in two pit lane walks each day.
Las Vegas Grand Prix Concerts
Headline concerts are a popular feature of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. At the inaugural race in 2023, the headliners included Mark Ronson, Maor Lazer and J Balvin. Kylie Minogue and Nile Rodgers also performed at the track on race weekend. Last year, concerts took place on four entertainment stages at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, see below. Las Vegas Grand Prix Food & Drink
Fans at the Las Vegas Grand Prix with grandstand seats or General Admission tickets in the East Harmon Zone, West Harmon Zone, T-Mobile Zone at Sphere and the Heineken GA+ Zone enjoyed all-inclusive complimentary food and non-alcoholic drink options (water and soft drinks) throughout the weekend in 2023 and 2024 – but the offer has been discontinued for 2025. Alcoholic drinks in the fanzones were priced between $12 for Heineken Silver/Lager (16oz or 470ml) up to $27 for a double premium spirit (vodka, tequila, bourbon, rum, gin, also 16oz or 470ml). Stated prices didn’t include sales tax, and cashless payments only were accepted. Check out drink prices from 2023 here.
