The LPGA has played its last official tournament. The 2025 season has now come to a close, and what a season it was. There were records set in many different categories. It turned out to be one of the most exciting seasons ever!
I have put together all the important stats from the season that has just ended. Not just the obvious ones, but some numbers that you probably will not find anywhere else.
I will start out with the winners of the major awards:
Player of the Year – Jeeno Thitikul
*The Vare Trophy – Jeeno Thitikul
Rookie of the Year – Miyu Yamashita
* Jeeno Thitikul won the Vare Trophy with the best score in LPGA history (68.68 strokes per round). Nelly Korda finished second at 69.44. A mind boggling stat shows that Nelly’s average was lower this year (She didn’t have a victory) than last year (69.56) when she won seven times!
Non Major Awards:
Aon Risk/Reward – Jennifer Kupcho took home the $1 million prize.
The Annika Major Award (player who had the best performance in all five Majors) – Minjee Lee.
Most Wins: Jeeno Thitikul -3.
Most top 10 finishes: Jeeno Thitikul -14 (Her 4th consecutive year winning in this category).

There were 12 first time winners this year which is a new LPGA record.
There were seven rookie winners this year which is also a new LPGA record.

Seven tournaments were decided by a playoff, and eight more were decided by one stroke.
There was one tournament won by a non-LPGA player – Youmin Hwang at the Lotte Championship.
Before I go, I want to thank everybody for the get well wishes and the prayers sent my way during my absence for heart surgery. They are very much appreciated.
I wish everyone Happy Holidays, and I will be back here for the start of the 2026 season.
