SENSHI 30 marks the 30th edition of the international kickboxing promotion, set for February 28, 2026, at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria. The event introduces the first Grand Prix tournament in the under-75 kg division under KWU Full Contact rules, alongside three super fights.

SENSHI: Event History and Stats

SENSHI launched on February 23, 2019, and has run 29 events over seven years. Those events featured 373 fighters from 59 countries, including 14 from Bulgaria, with Spain, France, Romania, Brazil, the Netherlands, and Serbia sending the most participants. Italy, Turkey, and Morocco round out the top 10 nations. Women account for 11 of the fighters.

The promotion hosted 347 bouts across those editions, producing 119 knockouts. It crowned six European champions and one Grand Prix winner in the over-95 kg class in 2025. The year 2023 saw the most action with 71 fights.

Grand Prix Format

The under-75 kg Grand Prix involves 12 fighters from 13 countries in a single-elimination bracket: quarterfinals, semifinals, third-place bout, and final, all in one night. Quarterfinal matchups include Gasham Mammadov (Azerbaijan) vs. Zhulien Rikov (Bulgaria), Constantin Rusu (Moldova) vs. Florin Lambagiu (Romania), Jordi Requejo (Spain) vs. Konstantin Stoykov (Bulgaria), and Máximo Suárez (Spain) vs. Christian Baya (DR Congo).

Reserve bouts feature Aibek Amanov (Kazakhstan) vs. Viktor Krashevski (Bulgaria) and Fernando Tigre (Portugal) vs. David Kinhefner (Hungary). Winners advance to determine the first SENSHI Grand Prix champion in this weight class.

Constantin Rusu, 31, from Moldova, holds titles as K-1 Champion of Moldova, FEA Champion 2019, and KOK World Grand Prix Champion 2018. He has trained 14 years, focusing on hand and foot strikes with adaptability.

Super Fights

Three super fights under KWU Full Contact rules complete the card. Hirokatsu Miyagi (Japan) faces Samo Petje (Slovenia) at 70 kg; Charalampos Digkas (Greece) meets Diyan Dimitrov (Bulgaria) at 70 kg; and Francesko Xhaja (Albania) takes on Giannis Stoforidis (Greece) at 95 kg.

K-1 Legends and Camps

SENSHI 30 draws K-1 figures like Ray Sefo, a six-time world kickboxing and Muay Thai champion, K-1 World Grand Prix 2000 runner-up, and victor over Jerome Le Banner, Peter Aerts, and others. Sefo joins as a special guest and instructor at the SENSHI International Training Camp from February 26 to March 1 in Varna.

Albert Kraus and Andy Souwer led a prior camp January 21-25 for 32 fighters from 13 countries, stressing pressure and mental prep for the Grand Prix format. They return with Semmy Schilt and Ernesto Hoost. Other regulars include Nicholas Pettas and Sam Greco.

Fans can catch all the action from SENSHI 30 live and free on the promotion’s YouTube channel starting at 7:00 PM EET on February 28. With 373 fighters and 119 knockouts already in the books across 29 events, this 30th edition delivers the first under-75 kg Grand Prix alongside K-1 legends like Ray Sefo, Albert Kraus, Andy Souwer, Semmy Schilt, Ernesto Hoost, Nicholas Pettas, and Sam Greco at the Varna camp.
