“This is so much fun, I get to fly around the world for something I get to do for free,” Alvey said after facing off. “I love this sport, I get to fight someone as amazing and decorated as [Spong] is. It’s amazing. I’m looking forward to this.”
Spong spoke after Alvey and said, “This will be another accomplishment. I’m fighting to motivate and showcase to my son, who wants to be a fighter, what needs to be done and how it’s done. So, that’s what we’re doing. I don’t have a psychic ball, I’m coming to win. I don’t like all this shit, so let’s fight.”
Karate Combat 54 will be available for free on YouTube or UFC Fight Pass, starting at 12 p.m. ET tomorrow, to check out the entire card, click here.
