Hoping to return to the sport after unretiring, Jon Jones has finally gotten his wish, though not in the way he would have thought. Competing against the biggest rival of his career, Jones will headline an MMA reality show alongside Daniel Cormier.
Throughout the 23-year history of the UFC, there has arguably been no bigger rivalry than Jones and Cormier’s. Not only were they two of the best fighters the octagon has ever seen, but the Hall of Famers provided the world with two unforgettable fights across the span of two years, in a feud that still rages on over a decade after their first meeting.
Mixed martial arts is bigger than it ever was, and new shows, both local and regional, and even reality TV, are at an all-time high for the sport. Similar to the beloved The Ultimate Fighter series run by the UFC, fans are beginning to take notice of the Russian drama ALF Global Reality.
ALF features aspiring MMA stars who are forced to live and train together on the route to earning a professional contract. Two coaches are provided for the fighters, who are often carefully selected to create drama on the show.

Several huge names have been sought out to serve as coaches, with Nate Diaz, Petr Yan, and Aljamain Sterling all featuring on the show. However, this upcoming season has turned it up a notch.
Not only has ALF hired two UFC greats, but the show has pitted Jon Jones against his fierce rival Daniel Cormier. Unlike TUF, the pair will not fight once the series comes to an end, but the drama that’s likely going to unfold with the pair will be must-see TV.
Team Jones vs. Team Cormier is set to collide, with filming for the new season set to get underway in the coming weeks.
