The stage is set for an explosive night of combat sports as Rise of the Prospects Cage Series 9 fighters successfully made weight on Friday, November 14th at the Ramada by Wyndham Tucson. With all 12 bouts official, fight fans are guaranteed a stacked card featuring eight amateur matchups, three amateur title fights, and one professional contest when the action goes down Saturday, November 15th at The Rialto Theatre in downtown Tucson.

Three Amateur Titles on the Line

The evening’s championship action features three compelling amateur title fights that promise fireworks. At 125 pounds, Christopher Tavares (129.4 lbs) faces Tony Hernandez (129.8 lbs) in what should be a technical battle between skilled competitors. The 135-pound amateur title will be contested between Andres Camacho (134.7 lbs) and Julio Escamilla Jr (136.9 lbs), while the 145-pound strap sees Jonathan Nunez (144.7 lbs) square off against Elijah Jimenez (144.9 lbs).

Professional Main Event

Headlining Cage Series 9 is a professional 145-pound showdown between Andres Ponce (145.2 lbs) and Ed West (145.7 lbs). Both fighters looked sharp on the scale and ready to deliver a memorable main event performance for the Tucson crowd.

Stacked Amateur Action

The undercard delivers quality depth with eight amateur contests spanning multiple weight classes. Standout matchups include a heavyweight clash between Jay Hector (238.5 lbs) and Niko Kittrell (257.9 lbs), promising powerful exchanges in the cage. The 155-pound division is well-represented with three competitive bouts, including Carmen Carangi vs Marco Salcido and Daniel Hernandez vs Victor Lopez.
