Miami madness!
No. 12 ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Paddy Pimblett gets a hefty step up in competition as he collides with “Iron” Michael Chandler at UFC 314 next month (Sat., April 12, 2025) inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
And it’s going to be fun.
When the opening odds were announced for this matchup last month, Chandler was the betting favorite -140 over Pimblett, who came in as the betting underdog +120. Well, money has come in, and those odds have flipped.
Today (Weds., Mar. 19, 2025), Pimblett is a -130 betting favorite, while Chandler is the +110 betting underdog, according to DraftKings.
For what’s worth, Pimblett has been the favorite in all six of his UFC fights.

Pimblett (22-3) has been perfect thus far inside the Octagon, going 6-0 with four finishes. In his last outing, he ran through King Green in under four minutes when he put the UFC veteran to sleep with a triangle choke and then dislocated his elbow in the process (watch highlights).
With a win at UFC 314, “The Baddy” will jump into the top 10 rankings, snagging Chandler’s No. 7 ranking.

Chandler (23-9) has hit another two-fight losing streak – his second inside UFC. In the former UFC Lightweight title challenger’s last outing, he lost a unanimous decision to Charles Oliveira at UFC 309.
“Iron” told his social media followers, “I respect Paddy. I think Paddy’s a skilled fighter, think he’s still got a bright future, but I think he’s gonna run into a buzzsaw named Michael Chandler on April 12.”
