The six-foot-11 Cameroonian centre has averaged 18.6 minutes, 2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks over five games with Memphis during his first 10-day stint, which came via hardship exception due to multiple injuries on the team’s roster.
Koloko spent last season with the Lakers, appearing in 37 games while averaging 2.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
He began his career with the Raptors after being selected 33rd overall in the 2022 draft and went on to play 58 games in his rookie season before being ruled unfit to play due to a blood-clot issue.
Charania reported in January 2024 that Koloko was suffering from the blood-clot issue and had been referred to the league’s fitness-to-play panel, preventing him from playing for or practising with an NBA team.
Koloko was reinstated in October 2024.
