From Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, the Raptors will hold training camp at the University of Calgary for the first time, concluding with an open practice on the final day.
“It’s been nearly a decade since we were last in Calgary, so we’re excited to be spending the better part of a week in Stampede City,” Raptors general manager Bobby Webster said in a release. “Training camp is really important for our team. It’s where we come together to focus on the year ahead, so making sure the city and the venue works is key. We think Calgary will be great — the facilities at UCalgary are top-class and we’re looking forward to exploring all the city has to offer.”
The team will then open its pre-season slate on Oct. 6 in Vancouver against Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets at Rogers Arena.
The game will mark the seventh Canada Series game in Vancouver and the first since 2023, when the Raptors defeated the Sacramento Kings 112-99 at Rogers Arena. Tickets for the game will go on sale Aug. 27.
A pair of Canadian Olympians will be on display for the October contest, with Murray of Kitchener, Ont., set to face Raptors forward RJ Barrett of Mississauga, Ont.
The Raptors will play six pre-season games in total. Their pre-season home opener is scheduled for Oct. 10 against the Boston Celtics.
Toronto’s regular-season slate has yet to be announced.
