Al Horford has agreed on a multi-year contract with the club, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Sunday.
Horford, 39, heads to Golden State after four seasons with the Boston Celtics, where he won the 2024 title.
Entering his 19th season, Horford is now expected to start at centre for the Warriors, per Charania.
In 60 games last season, the third-overall pick from the 2007 draft averaged 9 points and 6.2 rebounds per contest.
For his career, over 1,138 games also with the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder, Horford holds a stat line of 12.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest.
The Warriors reached the second round of the playoffs last season before falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games.
Horford marks their first significant signing of the off-season.
