The former Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers centre signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Monday.
Memphis was eligible to sign the 10-day earlier than typically allowed through a hardship exception due to multiple injuries on its roster.
Koloko spent last season with the Lakers, appearing in 37 games while averaging 2.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest. The six-foot-11 Cameroon native also got into two games with Los Angeles this season.
He began his career with the Raptors after being selected 33rd overall in the 2022 draft and went on to play 58 games in his rookie season before being ruled unfit to play due to a blood clot issue.
Koloko was reinstated in October 2024.
He could suit up for the Grizzlies as early as Monday when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder. Live coverage on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ tips off at 9:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. PT.
