The Brooklyn Nets are adding some size to their frontcourt as they continue their rebuild.
Highsmith, who stands at six-foot-seven, averaged a career-high 6.5 points last season along with 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals+blocks.
A 28-year-old seven-year veteran, Highsmith brings playoff experience to a young Nets team looking for veteran leadership. He was part of the 2023 Heat team that lost in the NBA Finals to the Denver Nuggets and has made playoff appearances in all four of his years with in South Beach.
Over his seven-year career, five of which were spent in the NBA, Highsmith has averaged 5.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 208 games.
