The NCAA Transfer Portal is now a key recruiting tool for most college programs.
The transfer window for non-graduate transfers opened on June 1, and many college coaches will round out their incoming classes with players from the portal. The portal will remain open to all players until July 1.
In 2024, more than 2,800 Division 1 players transferred to new programs.
