With the first weekend of April in the rearview, New England’s Division 1 college baseball programs are essentially looking ahead to the second half of their respective season schedules.
Boston College continued its strong run into the national rankings with another ranked road victory, but the positives hardly stopped there. Nine other clubs from the region are feeling good after series victories coming out of the weekend, including four three-game sweeps. Sunday’s inclement weather also left a pair of series incomplete.
The latest slate featured several head-to-head New England matchups in conference play, which will now dominate weekends throughout the region with the exception of any bye weeks.
This edition of NEBJ’s Monday roundup covers all of that and the rest of the action from around the region.
