Gonzaga had 11 Zags listed on an NBA opening day roster in 2024-25, so the 2025-26 season will have the exact amount. Here are all those that have been groomed by coach Mark Few over the years:
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chet Holmgren
Sacramento Kings’ Domas Sabonis
Indiana Pacers’ Andrew Nembhard
Orlando Magic’s Jalen Suggs
Los Angeles Lakers’ Rui Hachimura
Washington Wizards’ Corey Kispert
San Antonio Spurs’ Kelly Olynyk
Denver Nuggets’ Julian Strawther
Dallas Mavericks’ Ryan Nembhard
Portland Trail Blazers’ Zach Collins
Memphis Grizzlies’ Brandon Clarke
Unfortunately, Gonzaga’s Anton Watson, as well as Saint Mary’s Augustas Marciulionis, were among the final cuts by the Los Angeles Lakers just three days before the start of the season.
Drew Timme is still waiting for a two-way opportunity through free agency after being cut by the Brooklyn Nets. The only other spot that currently is open comes from the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks are two offenses that he would be most suitable for based on his skill set.
Oklahom City Thunder’s Chet Holmgren will receive his 2025 NBA championship ring on Tuesday, October 21st, at 4:30 p.m. PT on NBC/Peacock when they host the Houston Rockets.
