Drew Timme became just the second player in Long Island’s franchise history to receive the All-NBA G-League Second Team honor after averaging 23.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 35.6 minutes per game during the 2024-25 regular season.
As for his time with the Brooklyn Nets, he made an immediate splash in the NBA. Through nine games played (including two starts), Timme averaged 12.1 points on a shooting split of 44.1 field goal percentage/25.7 three-point percentage/62.5 free throw percentage. He also grabbed 7.2 rebounds and threw 2.2 assists per game.
He signed a two-year contract with Brooklyn that is valued at $2,068,432. An offseason while training within an NBA program will do wonders for his development as he prepares for a full, grueling 82 games in a single season. Timme will be focused on continuing to improve upon his agility, get strong when defending down-low, and work on his three-point consistency.
