Ryan Nembhard proved that he belongs with the best in the 2025 NBA draft class after a strong showing at the NBA G-League Combine in Chicago. On the first day of the NBA Draft Combine, he shot 73 percent throughout all of the shooting drills at the NBA Draft Combine (tied for the No. 3 highest). Alabama guard Mark Sears finished No. 1 out the 75 players invited.
Nembhard did lead all players in the three-point star drill. Here are the rest of his shooting splits:
Off-the-dribble: 24-for-30 (80 percent, tied for fourth)
Spot-up: 15-for-25 (60 percent)
Three-point star: 19-for-25 (76 percent)
Three-point side: 15-for-21 (71 percent)
Free throw: 8-for-10 (80 percent)

The combine will have five-on-five scrimmages starting tomorrow on Wednesday, May 13th at 11 a.m. PT on ESPN2 and run through Thursday, May 14th. The 2025 NBA Draft will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday, June 25th. Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor has the floor general going No. 57 in the 2025 NBA Draft to the Orlando Magic (via Boston Celtics). The comparison to Tyus Jones is quite on par given his ability to control an offense and his remarkable vision.
It will be extremely interesting to see how Nembhard handles himself on the defensive end while going against the most physical that both college basketball and international hoops have to offer.
