Alabama basketball’s date with Yale with the 2025-26 season has officially been set, and it comes with a pretty pay day for the Bulldogs.
According to information provided to the Tuscaloosa News by UA athletics, the Crimson Tide will face Yale on Dec. 29 at Coleman Coliseum.
In the one-year deal, Alabama has agreed to pay the visiting team a fixed sum of $85,000 for its visit to Tuscaloosa.
The Bulldogs and the Crimson Tide have met just once before, and Alabama looks to extend its record at home to 2-0 after sealing its first victory against Yale during the 2008-09 season. Getting within one point in the last minute of action, the game was almost Yale’s, but Alabama won it at the free-throw line, going 7 for 8 as 30 seconds dwindled on the clock.
