Razorbacks, Blue Devils and Wildcats, oh my! Michigan State basketball releases official non-conference slate for this season
It’s official — we know who Michigan State men’s basketball will be battling in non-conference play this season.
Michigan State formally released its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season on Tuesday afternoon. A number of the games included on the schedule had already been released and/or reported, but now we have the official slate to review and breakdown.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the upcoming schedule for this season below:
October 23 – Bowling Green***October 28 – at UConn***November 3 – ColgateNovember 8 – ArkansasNovember 13 – San Jose StateNovember 18 – Kentucky (Champions Classic in New York City)November 21 – DetroitNovember 25 – East Carolina (Fort Myers Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla.)November 27 – North Carolina (Fort Myers Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla.)December 6 – DukeDecember 16 – ToledoDecember 20 – Oakland (neutral site at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit)December 29 – Cornell
*** signifies an exhibition game
The official Big Ten schedule for the Spartans has not yet been released, so we don’t have the full slate for the season quite yet. But that should be coming out any day now too.
As far as the non-conference schedule goes, this is quite the challenging slate with at least four matchups against potential preseason top 25 teams. It’ll be especially fun to have Arkansas and Duke coming to the Breslin Center, and I’m personally excited to see how the Spartans stack up with one of the title favorites for next year in Kentucky early in the season.
This is a great non-conference slate and I’m excited to see how Michigan State stacks up against it.
