Pac-12 adds The CW to still-under-construction TV deal, including 13 football games in 2026

The Pac-12 Conference announced Tuesday that The CW will expand its partnership with the league and broadcast Pac-12 football and basketball games from 2026 to ’31.

Beginning in 2026, The CW will show 13 regular-season Pac-12 football games, 35 regular-season men’s basketball games, 15 regular-season women’s basketball games and the women’s basketball tournament semifinal and final.

The CW joins CBS, which was announced as the league’s primary TV partner in June and will broadcast the Pac-12’s football and men’s basketball championship games. The free over-the-air CW network currently broadcasts most Oregon State and Washington State home football games, along with ACC football, NASCAR’s Xfinity Series, WWE NXT, LIV Golf and more.

“Our partnership with The CW has been one of mutual growth and transformation, from the development of our Pac-12 Enterprises’ broadcast production business to the significant added value and positive impact to our current and future members via true national reach across 100 percent of U.S. television households,” Pac-12 commissioner Teresa Gould said in a statement. “I am excited for the continued growth of both The CW and the Pac-12 in the years ahead.”

The new Pac-12 is set to add Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Texas State and Utah State in all sports, plus non-football member Gonzaga in all sports and Dallas Baptist as a baseball-only member.

The in-house Pac-12 Enterprises will continue to handle the production for Pac-12 games on The CW, as it will for many games on CBS Sports Network.

The Pac-12’s remaining broadcast inventory is highlighted most by the league’s Olympic sports, along with earlier basketball tournament rounds. CBS will air a minimum of three regular season football games, while CBSSN will air a maximum of 10 football games. There could still be multiple additional broadcast media partners to come, and conference officials hope to finally finish the media deal in the coming months.
