New York Giants fans: Welcome to the Jaxson Dart era.
Coach Brian Daboll is handing the reins to his rookie quarterback, who was the No. 25 pick in the 2025 draft. And he’s not just doing it for Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers (3-0), but beyond, with veteran Russell Wilson heading to the bench.
“I don’t think any rookie QB is ever just ready to play,” Daboll explained. “You put him in there because you think that he’s done enough to show you that he can go out there and compete, and he’s done that every step of the way. That’s why I made the decision.”
